Thats right, Earth Day is just for those who love to hug trees, it is for conservatives as well. Anyone who wants to conserve the money in their bank accounts will want to conserve energy and prevent waste.

Updating your business and home to conserve energy use will obviously save you money and improve your overall bottom line at home and at work.  Yes the overall effect is better for the environment as well.

Some of things I have done in order to conserve energy are simple things that many will take for granted.

Driving - I drive as little as possible.  If I do drive, I make sure that my car is in top running condition the tires are properly inflated, oil and fuel filters are clean and most importantly, I try to make my errands a round trip sort of like what UPS does. so that I am not driving back and forth across the city wasting precious time and gas.

I love photography.  The photos you see were taken by me.  But recharging all those batteries takes energy and I like to utilize Free Energy whenever I have the opportunity.  While I am driving, I have a car charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter.  I don't have to plug it in at home and since I am driving, I am getting more than one thing done.  OF course, my favorite way to utilize the sun it solar powered battery charger.

At work my plans are to be completely off the gird and generate enough power to operate my computers. The upfront cost is a bit high but once recouped, the energy is 100% free.

Conserve and preserve, good for the earth and good for your wallet.
